Yellow Dream peony  (Itoh, T./Smirnow) 1974. A yellow, semi-double intersectional Itoh peony, one of Mr. Itoh's 4 original intersectional crosses between a tree and herbaceous peony. A gorgeous peony plant in the garden or landscape.

Mid-season peony. Height: 28-32". Itoh peony plants stand up without staking.

Mr. Toichi Itoh is known for the first successful crosses of herbaceous peonies with tree peonies - thus, the reference to these intersectional peonies as Itoh peonies.
