White Cap

White Cap peony  (Winchell, 1956)  Japanese style lactiflora peony. Luscious raspberry red guard petals surround a creamy white center with a hint of pale pink. The center whitens up as it blooms.

Good cut flower. The most wonderful 'rose' fragrance!

Mid-season. Height: 34". Sets seed, good for hybridizing.
