Gay Paree

Gay Paree (Auten, 1933)  Anemone type peony with deep cerise-pink guard petals. Lactiflora. The center lightens toward white and often produces tufts of pink petaloids in the center.

One of the most popular garden peonies. Prolific flower producer. Produces seed.  

A distinctively striking peony. Many side-buds for a longer bloom period. Good cut flower.
