'Avalanche' (Crousse, 1886). We love how this peony plant grows, stands upright and is an abundant producer of full, perfectly formed double white peonies. There can be a tiny flecking of crimson on a few petals. Strong stemmed with attractive darker green foliage. We always wish we had more of these peonies when we are cutting wedding flowers.
