We're Blooming Now! Lots of Iris and Peonies Ready to Dazzle You

The iris garden is spectacular with bloom and fragrance. The peony field is full of blossoms, with many opening hourly.

The coral peonies are blooming now, so it’s a good time to see which one is your favorite: Coral Charm, Coral Sunset, Coral Supreme or Pink Hawaiian Coral.

Avis Varner, Big Ben, Bob, Christmas Velvet, Command Performance, Henry Bockstoce, Chief Black Hawk, Many Happy Returns, Red Charm, Unique and other red peonies are stunning this week.

Many of the Intersectional (Itoh) peonies are blooming and available in potted containers: Al’s Choice, Bartzella, Chief Black Hawk, Border Charm, Canary Brilliants, Cora Louise, Garden Treasure, Julia Rose, Morning Lilac, Old Rose Dandy, Pastel Splendor, Prairie Charm, Rosy Prospects, Scarlet Heaven, Singing in the Rain, Yellow Dream and Yellow Heaven. These are herbaceous peonies that have a tree peony parent and their flowers and foliage are similar to a tree peony; but they grow as a bush peony. They are prolific bloomers and stately landscape plants.

We also have a huge assortment of other herbaceous (bush) peonies available in pots. The range of colors includes blush pink, coral, pink, red, salmon, white, yellow, bi-colored and multi-blended colors.  We have big, old fashioned heirloom peonies, Japanese/anemone style peonies and new varieties. They come in various double and single flower forms and a range of fragrances.

Stop by our Oregon peony farm and smell the peonies and iris or to pick up a potted peony plant or bouquet.
