Peter Brand peony (Brand/Abrahm, 1937) Double, dark mahogany red lactiflora. Large flowers with rich, dark petals. Golden stamens peak through.
Stiff stems; excellent cut flower.
Mid-season. 36" tall.
For an even darker, more luscious color, grow in afternoon shade. This is one of our favorite varieties of big, dark red peonies.
Ships in the fall of 2021.
