Fall planting of bare root peonies is months away, and folks are already getting orders in for their choice of varieties.

We have a good supply of some new additions, along with time-honored favorites. We also have a limited supply of some specialty and rarely offered peonies.

You can find them in our 2021 Peony Root Catalog and order for fall planting. All of our peony roots are shipped in the fall months. Potted peony plants will be available at our farm later this spring.

Last years gardening blitz of food and flowers will likely continue throughout 2021, so pre-ordering what you want or need is a good idea.

It will be ample for a time; they may outgrow a 2’ space after 6-8 years. If they do, you would notice a decline in the blooms each spring.

I plan to order 2 peonies for fall planting but I have to wait a few months to order. I blew the budget on spring planting perennials. The place I plan to plant them is in the back yard between a 6’ cedar fence and concrete mowing strip 2’ away. Is this going to be ample space? The fence is on the north side. I live in Boise, Idaho, 208-562-1110.
